Daniel Eran Dilger of RoughlyDrafted.com is back with a look at the mixed-up mess that is the DVD and what it takes to move DVDs to the Apple TV. Dilger is mostly concerned here with the ins and outs of the various video and audio formats and the pros and cons of each possible method of taking DVD content and placing it on the Apple TV. Even so, he does touch upon a recent court case which shows a glimmer of hope of overturning the foolish legal restrictions currently in place to prevent one from repurposing video content they already have purchased in one format into another.
